Adventures in Printing

So after 12 years I decided it was a good idea to ease into my classes instead of jumping in full steam. I work full time (5 am to 1:30 pm) so I decided to take the min. number of credits which is 12. This ended up being CIS 100, WRT 121, Math 60 (It's been 12 years get off my back), a fitness class and CPR.
Of all of my classes the most challenging has been my Writing 121 class. Not because it is overly difficult for me to write papers but because you have to print them. I'm a technology guy, I'm great with computers. I can't spell but that's beside the point.
For the writing class our final was a portfolio of all of our works that were done both in and out of class. This is fine except for one MAJOR issue. You have print the papers. All quarter I had difficulty with printing. I finally figured out what the problem was. No matter what program I used, for some reason, the line length was wrong. The programs were making the lines longer than what would fit on the page so when I would print it the printer, being the little helper it is, decided to go ahead and reorganize the data in a way that fit. On a 12 page paper that is double spaced it was a nightmare. There was no fast way to reformat the papers so I ended up having to manually reformat the line length. The good news, if there is a game out there that requires only the use of the arrow keys, enter, home and end, I will own any one that dares challenge me.
FYI: I bought a printer last night so I won't have to use the POS school printers and I'll have more time to fix problems like this.
